Texas Granny Breaks 2018 Guinness World Record For Longest Nails After Growing Them For 23 Years
Ayanna Williams spent 23 years growing out her nails, and she finally broke the 2018 Guinness world record for the world’s longest fingernails for a female.
The grandmother and nail artist from Texas — whose nails are 18 feet, 10.9 inches long — says she needs 20 hours and two bottles of nail polish to paint them!
Ayanna told People she paints her nails in colorful patterns and designs about once a month, but has to clean them with a brush and/or disinfectant several times a day.
Since her nails prevent her from doing things like washing the dishes, her granddaughters help her with chores around the house.
She even admits to eating popcorn… with a spoon. The most difficult task, however, is pulling up her pants!
