What is the Value of Human Life?

The hardest working slave is the one who believes they are free.

This concept has defined the industrial revolution of the past two centuries, and it is what also defines the era of information even more. You have a smartphone, or a computer, and you have access to all the information in the world at your fingertips.

There is only one problem: you are either too stupid or too nice of a person to utilize this knowledge in any meaningful way.

February 2020 has many arrows pointing to it: war, economic collapse, famine... but there is also another factor at play. Artificial intelligence is just the latest tool for world leaders. The recent assassination of Iran's 2nd in command (for all intents and purposes he was practically their first in command) was undertaken because artificial intelligence and deep learning concluded that Soleimani was behind a growing resistance against US interests in the region.

This assassination of Soleimani marks the beginning of what was once science fiction. The movie with Tom Cruise called The Minority Report was based on this notion of being able to predict the future utilizing AI. There is only one problem: Garbage In, Garbage Out (GIGO).

The more variables that an AI has, the better the prediction will be. We do not yet have the capability to gather enough variables to know that the prediction is correct.

And so, Soleimani was killed and WW3 likely started over an AI determining who needed to die. February 2020 will mark the point where the Military Industrial Complex begins to use this new tool of theirs on a regular basis. Soleimani was just the first, expect there to be more this year as the emperor looks into the crystal ball to decide who must be killed.

The value of human life just dropped. Those targeted for extermination will be determined via AI and limited variables being accounted for. It doesn't matter if the AI gets it wrong, because it can predict the future better than any think tank or analysis can, and because of this faith in the AI there will be less apprehension in taking lethal action against targets.
