Government will buy one thousand MW of solar power

At present, the average Delhi Government is procuring electricity at 5.50 rupees per unit, making it available to the people.

Government will introduce solar pumps for farmers for Solar Agricultural connections. This service will start with the support of the central government. For this, the center gives subsidies to the farmers. The Government of Delhi will provide this solar pump at affordable rates by increasing the scope of subsidy in this category.
