The SolarCoin Foundation is in early talks with other monitoring platforms and utility partners. Looks interesting but you have to have particular SMA inverters to use it. I have 60kw of Solar PV systems but don't use SMA inverters.
You only need SMA to claim via sunny-portal, you can go direct to claim from the SolarCoin Foundation webpage or a local affiliate, see www.solarcoin.org
I have Enphase inverters and have been claiming for several years
Thanks for that. I wrote to them as I don't have online access to my inverters but only electricity bills showing solar production.
Interesting project. I have Solar panels on my roof. Will claim mine this week!
