Hello everyone
Another rant and rave but this one is justified. The world is pushing for green energy trying to improve the environment. There is a law being passed here now that you will be charged via a tax on Solar and Wind power. Why? because you are affecting the income of the state. No one trusts the huge government power company called Eskom. It has been rife with corruption for years and apparently they are concerned that they won't make money. every year the price of electricity is going up by 15-20 percent a year. It pays you to put Solar panels on your house as it works out cheaper. Not any more as they are going to tax anyone who goes off the grid. This is crazy as it should be welcomed. They still use coal fired power stations here and unfortunately with this it doesn't matter what the rest of the world does they will remain backward. This is another nail in the coffin of what is supposed to be a leader in AFRICA.

I remember when I lived in Perth, Western Australia years ago it was proposed that households with solar pay extra as they weren't contributing, but it never happened.
They are going to do it as coffers are empty from Zuma helping himself.

Bloody right you are sir and the hole being dug is getting deeper and deeper. Think of all the less privileged if more effort was given to looking into 3D printed low cost housing fitted with rain catch water reservoirs and solar panels for electricity
