Amazon can also shortly appear on the market of messaging applications.
According to the informations of AFTVNews, Amazon is currently surveying it's users about what are their expectations about messaging applications and what can describe a good communication platform. The site is also published photos and based on these photos the name of the new solution could be "Anytime". TechCrunch asked them about the project but they didn't received any response so far.
According to the leaked informations the new software will also provide certain community functions to fit the expectations of the users. With the help of anytime there will be possibility to indirect shopping, booking restaurant tables or booking seat reservations on airlines and booking hotel rooms. The traditional messaging functions will comes with optional encryption. That is not completely clear if all of the sent and received messages will be encyptable or just certain conversations will be encryptable. Besides the text and the group chat conversations, videoconferences will also be possible.

To contact someone in the Anytime system you don't need phone number, but you only need to provide the name of the other person. The platform could appear on smartphones, tablets as well as on desktop and portable computers. The Anytime will be integrated into the Alexa platform.
The company is introduced their conference system in February named Chime which can be used with desktop and portable devices as well. Chime is a part of the Amazon Web Services and it's available as an application on iOS and Android devices and computers with MacOS and Windows as well. In the case of Chime each user can login with their phone number even without the installed Chime application.
