More money more attractive?

So if having more money place you higher on the social ladder does that mean that having more money makes you more attractive? I think for each individual it does because if someone has the choice to be with exactly the same person who is poor and with exactly the same person who is rich they would go for the rich person. But it only makes you more attractive to some extent. An old man with $10 million isn't sexually more appealing then an old man with 10 bucks. They are both unattractive. Of course there are women who want to be with the old man with the 10 million dollars to get that money but that's a different case. In that case the money does help the man to get what he wants. And for some women it is more appealing to be with him and than to be with someone broke. So well maybe more money makes you more attractive but I don't know if it's necessarily attracts the right people.
