Attention warfare, Yoga, the circus, gypsies and Indians

Platforms like Instagram and YouTube have provided for the rise of short-form, visually appealing, addictive imagery. Eye candy! Super sweet. You can see yoga and salsa and acrobatics and gymnastics and hunting or fishing or anything you standard you can think of. Porn creeps in, the addicts drift towards sexual imagery and these algorithms dance the edge of taboo to keep the user lusting, only offended enough to be further intrigued.

Flashing images of violence, sex, birth, grotesque art, and intellectually reductive meme preaching, unbelievable photographic manipulations, satisfying tactile experiences and endless comedy sketches.

Such a pain in the neck, makes a guy gotta stretch out his giraffe neck and taste the air at altitude, eat the fruit on top of the tree.

Data tech companies continue to monopolize and monetize attention, fixating their subjects on frivelous and empty colors. 2020 where is the restore, we are tired.

My magical crystal projecting endless creation into my ocular orb, mind's eye.

cool post mate hopefully things will change

Thanks, I'm definitely putting it out there, I believe people are ready to change minds and society

Interesting post. I have a lot of issues with social media and it definitely has some issues, but also positives as well. I think social media like steemit/steempeak have helped a lot, though, many of those same issues still persist here. I think in the end it's prolly less about the technology and more about the human spirit and hopefully we can evolve in a better direction than where things have been going for a while!

You're right, humans are the technology, and which humans is which problems. I see good things ahead, healing is difficult
