You Are Not a Citizen of the World

Modern day collectivists have tried to convince us, in order to dilute personal allegiances, that we are global citizens and owe something to unrelated people in faraway lands. This philosophy demeans and devalues the individual and determines to make him or her a serf to some unknown and unseen power.

Our loyalty should be to our family, friends and local circles in which we have influence. These may include customers, employers, neighbors and your neighborhood. To send money or devote attention to people or things that you, in reality, can minimally influence is to lessen your own quality of life. How does sacrificing yourself help you or those you choose to love?

Once your energy and treasure is pooled into some collective entity over which you have no control, it is controlled by others who, more than likely, will not use if for your personal benefit or anyone's but themselves. Rather, these faceless entities grow like cancer. Whether charity, church or corporation, any entity over which you have minimal control will absorb your power and likely use it against you.

Face and focus on what matters here, in your home, in your car, on your street and grudgingly, if at all, send your power away.
