Do you think Social Networks are good or bad?

Is social media is Good or Bad ? is the most frequently asked question nowadays. Well, everything has two sides ; it depends on you "How you use it" . therefore same for Social media, most people use it as a revolutionary invention but on the other hand some use it in a negative way .

I have complied some opinions( positive and negative) to express social media:

Positive Effects

-Friends and Relations:
Social networks started as a place to connect with your friends and new people to make new friends.Many of you might have found your old friends (college or School) with social network and may of you found new friends for many different places . which was quite difficult to find friend for one country to another or once city to another.

-Reducing Communication Barriers:
With social media we are able to convey our thoughts , ideas and thinking on some different subjects/topics with a large number of peoples.

-Opportunities for Businesses:
Independent companies and extensive organizations now have similar chances to talk with individuals, there are various applications being made on the social media, whose main purpose is to promote their product or brand.

Negative Effects:

-Leads to Addiction:
Many studies have shown that to much usage of social media cause addiction to the user. All the day, they post something on their pages /profiles to get attracted my more people or check others posts .Like it is an important part of our life.

"Just like an alcoholic that can't start their day without a shot of alcohol, many people can't get out of bed before checking Facebook."

-Lead to Isolation:
Extreme usage of social media has reduced interaction with human in real life because user isolate his live behind the online identity. Gathering and meeting with friends and people has been reduced and may of us lost the joy and charm to be together under one roof.

-Cyber-bullying
This is true, scary and unfortunate that social media can also be used for cyber-bullying.Many of us have been face this problem and many are still facing . Unfortunately many people leave social media or do suicides.

Conclusion:
I have mentioned a few positive and negative opinion of social media, but it doesn't explain that social media is good or a bad thing. what you think " Social Networks are good or bad? "
