The trend of up votes/followers/likes across all social media outlets including STEEM

As many have seen weather it be via facebook/youtube/twitter/reddit etc, there has always been a serious issue on all forms of social media where people use themselves as click bait, or using pictures of themselves to draw attention for likes followers or what ever else options there are. We have all seen how large these pages/channels can grow just because they show a little skin, not being gender specific.
Given the new opportunities STEEM can produce, i am already starting to see a growing trend of the same happening here, briefly going over the lists of story's/posts i noticed that the highest earners are mainly involved around women, clickbaiter's or by people who are well known among certain groups, bt talk etc. While people like myself and many other's who are not really known don't really get noticed in comparison.

When you take a step back and look at it, not everyone is well known, or prepared to flash flesh or even living an interesting life that's worth sharing.
Like myself for example, i come from a family of 5, all boys, didn't that piss my mum off lol. Anyway i can't really say that my life has much excitement to it, or that i do much that's worthy of sharing with the world in any form of degree, i am a full time carer for my father who has a broken back as well as a full time father, sadly i don't get the chance to head out and see the world or experience things that are totally new and alien to me. The most excitement i tend to get is going fishing once in a blue moon, and even that is nothing special, nothing seems to be biting in SA atm for land based anyway. So i chose to live a simple life and because of those choices what is there to share.

And there are people out there who have even more simpler life, will they get up votes as well without the need to flash some flesh so to speak, or make up fake stories just to keep the mob happy "fishing for likes".
I can only imagine how things will work out, like always with any form of social media outlets, show some flesh, click baits the endless spam threads or just being a very well known person/persons will always seem to be the way to go until the general mindset is changed towards it......

Just don't forget about the little guys like myself and many other's that are here as well.
