No it's showing that he doesn't want to spend 20 dollars on food like it would hurt him and his wallet but he can afford to invest 2000 in crypto

Yes i could see how it could be confusing to some people but crypto currency and the block chains aren't going away so might as well invest some money and make a few dollars in the process
It will only be confusing to people who either don't speak English as their first language or are a little slow. I thought it was funny.
