Steemit is the Future of Social Media

As someone who has used social media since it’s inception Steemit gives me great hope. Here’s a couple reasons to consider.

Instead of needless likes steemit gives you the opportunity to turn likes into cash. I’m just getting started here but after speaking to many others they have something to show for being here.

Another reason is Steemit incentivizes real quality news from quality sources. I run Tech Anarchist on Facebook and in networking with other admins there was always the temptation to trade your credibility for monetized likes. It encourages the spread of disinformation.

Not only that but the censorship is getting bad. I now regularly get 7 day and 30 day bans. It would be one thing if it was for violating clear policies but I’ve found that most of the time it was for reasons unknown.

One can’t help but wonder if Facebook is set up to censor the public and control information. In China the government does this in America private corporations do it.

Again I have high hopes for Steemit. Hopefully I can use it to retire. What do you like best about it?
