Everything was started since few days before they were qualified to become licensed LAM (Malaysian Board of Architect) part 2 Graduate Architect with master’s degree. Small social pocket society was co-founded and initiated by Amirul along with his mates, Shuern and Hidayat in year 2016. Upon graduating in 2016, Amirul, Hidayat and Shuern decided to bring out small intimate architectural works to publics. They initiated first few social public engagements with names, ‘Mersing-Art’ (a social collective oriented street art making headed by specific artist), ‘JBcityEX’ (an exhibition urban forum focusing in Johor Bahru city) and ‘PocketNest’ (a timber structure treehouse collectively builds by Architectural Students).

Amirul has always keen in making good public relationship with publics. He always expresses and communicates with his visionary ideas to different types of societies. However, Hidayat completed the group with his technical and practical capabilities. He is into music making and people-oriented person. A performer as we could describe him. Not to forget Shuern, a quiet with deep sense with art emotional intelligence. She enjoys and perceived present moment peacefully. An Artist. They are now Universiti Teknologi Malaysia architect’s alumni, but they are more than just a troupe of Architects.
