France almost closed the series of preparation trials for the 2018 World Cup with poor results. Appearing in front of his own supporters, Didier Deschamps's team had to settle for a 1-1 draw against the United States.

Playing at Groupama Stadium, France looks to dominate early in the game. Opportunities directly created by troops Didier Deschamps when the game has been running for five minutes through the foot of Paul Pogba, and his shot was successfully denied by the American goalkeeper, Zack Steffen.
