After falling to City in the League Cup final three goals to nil on the weekend, the Gunners were given a shot at redemption today at the Emirates. The stadium was half empty, much like Ozil's will to win. Within 34 minutes, the scoreline was the same as the dismal cup final thanks to goals from B. Silva, D. Silva and Leroy Sane. A loud chorus of boos lead the teams off the pitch at halftime. Both sides just went through the motions in the second half.
Onwards and upwards to capitulation against Milan.
I hope Arsene Wenger keeps his job forever.
