Who are the SF Deltas?
First of all, who likes soccer?
San Francisco Deltas was founded in 2016 in San Francisco, CA. The world Delta means “change”. Since we are in San Francisco, a city of change and innovation their main goal is to take risks and commit to a meaningful positive difference in the the community.
For the past two years SF Deltas has been instrumental in shaping hundreds of young professionals from different social, economic and ethic background. Playing soccer, these young men transform their energy into a competitive spirit to become professional players and continue to follow their passion.
SF Deltas has three main missions:
- End homelessness
- Empower women
- Employ low income youth
San Francisco has the highest number of homeless in the United States. SF deltas has partnered up with Street Soccer USAA and Taking It To the Street to make a progress toward ending Homelessness.
They have also partnered with Girls leading girls and La Cocina and to help increase opportunities for women. La Cocina, is particular provides food during game days, is an SF based non-profit that helps low-income women become food entreprenuers.
I have attended and supported their team since day one, and I would like to ask for your support on spreading the word & supporting our San Francisco's soccer team.
