Manchester City vs Huddersfield Town
After a sloppy first half, two rapid fire goals from Leroy Sané and Raheem Sterling saw Manchester City take an easy 3-0 victory against Huddersfield.
City hog the ball possession from the start but aren't as sharp on the break, giving the game a quite slow start. City should have gotten a penalty in the 13th minute, after Kongolo takes down Sterling in the box but the referee waves to play on.
Danilo gives City something to show for all their possession 5 minutes later, giving them the first goal of the game. Walker finding Danilo with a pass, before he plays a long shot that takes a deflection off Schindler's head before going in the net.
City have seemed sloppy with their play, not being able to create good chances with all their possession. Both sides end the first half with the 1-0 scoreline.
City start the second half a little bit better but they still don't look their best.
Sterling doubling City's lead in the 54th minute, after Sané plays a nice cross into the six yards box for Sterling to finish with a close range header. Sané looked to be slightly offside but the goal decision still stood.
2 minutes after his assist, Sané scores a goal of his own to put City 3 goals ahead. Aguero heading a lobbed pass from Danilo into Sané's path and Sané easily playing it past the keeper with minimal effort.
The rest was a comfortable game as City took control for most of the game. Huddersfield created a few good chances but were unable to get the finishing right.
City claim an easy 3-0 victory to move within 4 points of first placed Liverpool.
