State of the Sndbox Competition Entry -- Playing with Texture
This post is a little different from my usual makeup and beauty post but fear not, those are still continuing as per usual. For now, I'm excited to participate in my first competition here on Steemit! Stumbled upon the State of the Sndbox competition recently and thought I'd flex my design muscles.
In makeup, it's all about blending so having a seamless gradient across the text incorporates that aspect of my post content into the design. Taking inspiration from the @sndbox logo, I took advantage of the geometric shapes and added texture to it to resemble sand on the shapes. The logo in varying fades in the background represents footprints in the sand.
