Harmless Snake
Today I have posted this picture of my daughter holding a Harmless Pet Snake.
There is a difference between a Harmless snake and a Venomous Snake and there is a difference between a Wild snake and a Pet snake.
Snakes are predictors and eat other animals. The Venomous ones use their venom to subdue their prey, the non venomous ones mostly use their muscles to constrict their prey. Some venom's may cause harm to man.
Wild snakes may bite to defend themselves, pet snakes may become accustomed to being handled.
So if you choose to hold a snake - to be safe - choose a harmless pet snake.
The snake in the photo is a Royal Python from West Africa.
It can be deadly when it is very hungry

Even if this snake is hungry - it does not and cannot eat humans - it is still harmless
Istly i want to know is there any thing as an harmless snake? Even if i am told that the snake is armless i would not be as brave as your daughter she has a very brave courage to be doing this i wish i could do this #regards
To be honest, it is all learning. Trust me, most snakes are harmless and cannot hurt you. Unfortunately there are some dangerous snakes. You just have to learn the different types.

Wow, that's impressive. It's not that I dislike snakes, I actually think they are quite fascinating. But I prefer liking them from a distance. Or through a layer of thick glass. :)
