By the looks and history of our groups here on Steemit.com, I have the feeling this news will bring about much eagerness to create and therefore will propel the platform to new heights. SMTs are truly an amazing innovation. SMTs are to this blockchain what ERC20 is to etherium.
It opens up the door for a ton of tokens to be created using the curation/reward system that steem developed. A great deal of the social media spectrum could adopt this format....
SMTs were a tremendous announcement...I dont think people realized how big.
