RE: ## Oct 30 UPDATE of “Synopsis of Steemit Community Members’ Views on SMT-related Work Needed”
Resteemed your article. This article was resteemed because you are part of the New Steemians project. You can learn more about it here: https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@gaman/new-steemians-project-launch
I really appreciate your support, @gaman, and I’m happy to observe that I am already following you in connection with one of your initiatives.
Before I get over to the page to which you have sent me, I want to pass on to you a remark that is not in my post above and which I think deserves some reflection.
In mobilizing itself to address all of the new developments that are going to take place when the SMT marketing gets underway and there is some take-up in the form of new entities attempting to benefit from the program, Ned and his leadership group at Steem Inc. should think about forming SMT-project support groups from among members of the Steemit community who have the pertinent knowledge and experience.
Each support group would be focused on a particular task or objective, or a closely related set of same, pertaining to the roll-out or eventual success of the SMT project, functioning in effect as volunteer workers within the Steem Inc. organization.
Cheers!
Hello again @gaman !
I went over to the page to which you directed me in the link above, and I discovered that it was a page that I had previously seen, and where I left some questions for you.
I thank you for accepting me as a member of the New Stemians project.
Since I’m more likely to get your attention on this page rather than on the one to which you sent me, given its age and the very large number of comments on it, I take this opportunity to outline for you what I wish to do in terms of helping new members.
My focus will be on one-on-one dialogues with people whose messages indicate that their areas/subjects/topics of special interest are close to mine. That will give me an opportunity to offer them specialized support where I seem to have the capability to do so.
For example, if they wish to develop a blog in some area where I have special knowledge, I can offer my unusual skills (excuse the immodesty) in finding relevant materials all over the Internet, including especially the academic literature. That way I will become almost a member of the research team in the production of their blog, and for that service I would be hoping that they will support my work ( via research-related services and promoting my web sites).
