Ancient Battleground / Steemit Music League Challenge Week #9 / Soundtrack
Werd up original Music loving Steemians,
here is my entry for the Steemit Music League Challenge Week #9 The theme was Ancient Civilizations so I decided to create a soundtrack of an ancient battleground since that's what every civilization knew (and still does) best...skirmish and blood shedding. If you were all waiting for an epic story about Sumerians, Egyptians, Romans or Greeks...I'm sorry to disappoint you I didn't deliver a good read. However I do promise you, you are about to see the most epic ancient battle without even looking at it. All you have to do is just push that play button, listen, and the scene should appear in your pineal gland. ☺ At least I hope so. E N J O Y.
Woahhhhhhhhhh let's gooooooooooo
This is such an epic battle beat holy smokes.
Love that brass that comes in at 0:23 helps establish the war vibe of this in my opinion.
And how you change up the tempo (at least perceived) at 0:56 and then slow it down at 1:08 to let us catch out breath and than whammmmmm you hit us with the full force of the beat.
Man I got such goosebumps listening to this. It would no doubt be an epic theme song for a legendary battleground.
And that artwork I feel like I am in the middle of some dark forest looking down. Such an epic perspective
Great feedback as usual, and you are right about all of the points I appreciate you listening in detail and glad you can feel the whole ancient battle vibe. ☺ Steem on chief.
Thank you buddy appreciate you and thanks for inspiring us with your art o weee
Murdah! this should be submitted for a movie easy! Kudos to the @beatseb
Redrum son. lOl It should right? Waiting for a company to knock on my door. (: Thanks a lot @djlethalskillz

My pleasure you wonderful one @beatseb❣️
Thank you again for introducing me to #steemit, really loving the community & these challenges, a real rush 🤘😎
Can’t wait to hear the detailed feedback from @chiefmappster & maybe some others will take their time too !! ✌️❤️✊️🎶
I will check some more out now too, my internet was messed up AGAIN..
I hear you @d-vine glad you made it over here thought, you do totally deserve it...I wouldn't wanna let you waste your time on FB and some trashed out platforms where Artist as we are are pretty overlooked or silently copied, Steemit is a perfect platform for our kind in many ways, and great for a number of Intellectuals and originators...trolls doesn't survive too long over here and those are some of the reasons why I love this place. Yeah the challenges are very inspiring and thanks God @chiefmappster had that brilliant Idea with them, my music creating life has changed since I started being a participant on them leagues...like you mentioned, it's a real rush no doubt. I'm pretty sure you'll get some feedback on your work, just keep on being consistent and passionate in your work. You'll need time until you find some of your audience until the rest of them finds you...you'll be good in a minute. (; BTW your internet sucks. lOl That's an issue you need to fix if you wanna stay consistent though. (; Good luck and Steem on Sista. ☺
@beatseb thanks for having my back, means the world!
Internet sitsch is being sorted, nu tune finished .. ❤️❤️❤️
I hearz Ya. ((: Eager to hear it. ☺
Ima shoot you a link!! If you have the time & Muse to take a listen, I would love to hear what ya think @beatseb ❤️✊️🎶
Yeah totally...shoot it on my private messages on discord. ☺
Awesome Entry @beatseb kinda getting a Gladiator vibe from this, reminds me of Spartacus a bit. Cool!
Happy Holidays, and have a great night!
That's right @inthenow I was actually thinking on Gladiators when I created it...the movie 300 to be exact. Glad you dig it my friend and happy holidays to you too. ☺
You leave my pineal gland alone, buddy! :P
Another banger! It definitely felt like a battle to me.
I was wondering if you're up for a little contract work. My brother and I are going to Vietnam next month and we'll probably need some minimalistic Asian sounding music for the background in videos for Steemit. I can send you some SBD or something. You interested?
Hehe..aaight Pal..I promise not to ever touch your pineal gland without your permission. XD
Thanks Bro. I was thinking on 300 when I created it. (;
I'm interested about the task for sure, but I can't be taking SBDs from Ya'll..come on now. It's all about my time that pressures lately, but other then that I can create couple of tunes for your videos, no doubt...it will be fun I'm sure. ☺
It's like I was right there on the battlefield!!!
That made my pineal tingle.
Yeah! It's great being in a battle without being hurt, huh? (:
lOl Great way to tingle the pineal. ☺ Thanks buddy.
Man, that does sound like the soundtrack of something like Spartacus, or 300 as you mention elsewhere ... Nailed it, dude!
Huh!! (: Right? Ancient Battle Slaughtertrack. q: Happy you heard and liked the tune Bro. ☺
Like it?! It blew my hairback!
lOl Thanks buddz. ☺
I think I typed this comment under the wrong post and had to delete, noobs, I swear!! But I was saying, I especially loved the samples, sound like you had a soundtrack orchestra in your back pocket!
No samples at all on this one...i't's all MIDI created and the sounds I've used are the action strings form native instruments / kontakt, and some percussion from miroslav philharmonic...both vsts of course. (;
perhaps it's matter of terminology, I meant 'sample libraries', of course, mapped to MIDI ... So I think you answered it ... 'Action Strings' is Kontakt's library, and miroslav philharmonic has a great percussion library from what you're saying ... I'm still using a Korg T1, and enhancing the sound in Audacity ...
Right. ☺ So you are using the T1...I hear you. It used to be my dream Keyboard back in the days...the one that I could never afford to purchase back in the 90's. (: Today I've got the Korg series M1, MDE -X Legacy Cell and the Wavestation as vsts, and they are making up for it. Shoooooot. ((; Every once in while I use some of their sounds for my production. ☺
your photos are very creative
