Smartphone Photography Challenge - French Toast, Anyone?

Hi steemit friends,

I decided to take a break for a few days during the downtime and recharging following HF20. This is the first hardfork that I've experienced during my time here on the Steemit platform. I know that the rollout was a bit rocky and has upset quite a few members of the community. I, however, took the unforseen break to catch up on some other work, take some time to be with my friends, and to just do some overall relaxation. At this point it seems like the majority of the HF20 issues are pretty well resolved - there are of course a couple of more minor issues that the Steemit team is working on currently, but hopefully they can reach a solution that the majority of users will be happy with!

For my entry today into the smartphonephotography challenge, I am sharing a photo that I took this morning after cooking up some breakfast. On this morning's menu was some golden-brown french toast paired with fresh berries. As you can see from my photo, the meal was a huge success and was very tasty! And being the Canadian that I am, I obviously had to douse the french toast in maple syrup to add the final Canadian touch!
