I do believe those flowers are a hollyhock. They are a rich color. Loved your poem and its shift on how to look at things. The plants are indeed very generous, especially this time of year. I just dried some herbs today and my home smells so lovely.

Nice! Fresh garden herbs can add a lot of flavor to food. I am glad you loved the poem, I really love reading yours as well.
