Horton Plains- fanstastic national park in Sri-Lanka
Today I want to tell you about one of the most beautiful national parks in Sri Lanka - the Horton Plains.
We spent the night in the city of Nuwara Elia. We drove about 30 kilometers and finally reached the Horton Plains. In this national park, elephants used to live, and now you can eat reindeer, leopards, jackals and many others. Here you can see rare species of butterflies, birds.
One of the main attractions of the park is the "End of the World" slope, which abruptly breaks off and goes down by 1500 meters.
From the edge of the slope you can see the Indian Ocean. Unfortunately when we got close to the slope there was a fog and we did not see anything ((
Plateau Horoton is one of the most ecologically clean places in the world. You can not smoke here, you can not take food with you ...
This is an amazing place with a diverse landscape.
Very much I advise you to visit this place.
