I haven't used DTube, but I uploaded my first video to DLive last night. You can sign in with your usual Steemit details. There are two choices- you can stream your video live, or upload a video like you do on YouTube.

There is a tags section like there is here on Steemit. There's the 'video description' which is the text body of the post. And there is a place to add a thumbnail photo to go with your video.

When you post at DLive, it automatically appears as a post on Steemit too.
