I've been thinking about trying to get a masternode. The prices have dropped, so it would only be around $800 to do so, but I would have to pull funds from other places. Based on the numbers above, if you have @smartcash in your reward wallet, you get rewards from 15% of the blocks, but only 10% from masternode. Wouldn't it be better to just leave it in rewards wallet?
Is there additional danger having it in rewards wallet rather than the other? Any reason for two wallets?
I'm potentially going to be in a position to do something with this and I'm trying to figure out how this fits in my plans.
Why is that? The requirements for masternode are pretty basic. I dont think you need to spend 800$ to get one.. do visit their page to get more information about it..

Yes it would. And thats the idea..
There is no danger. Infact there are 3 wallets. 2 reward wallets and 1 liquid wallet. If you keep the smartcash in liquid wallet, you will not get rewards. If you keep coins in other two or even one, you will get rewards. I havent received a reward so far so i am yet to comment in detail about it. Will get back to you.
From the limited research that I've done, it said you need 10,000 SmartCash to host a master node. That's where I came up with the figure. Looking forward to hearing your results from holding it though.
Ohhh i see i see.. i didnt include the price of buying 10,000 smartcash as collateral. I thought you were saying that the node alone would cost you 800$. Yes you are right. You would need 10,000 smartcash as collateral to setup smartnode..
The nice part about that is that you still have the smartcash, but if you bought at $3, you're going to be waiting a long time until that's profitable again. Patience. Just breathe. Ha ha
