RE: MORE THAN 50% OF SMARTCASH-SMARTNODE HOLDERS HAVE NOT UPDATED THEIR NODES

in #smartcash6 years ago (edited)

As I mentioned in my previous reply, understanding is not the same as doing it yourself. Someone may understand the reason SmartNodes exist and their role in the network, but still not be able to set up one, even with help. Others may be able to set up and run a SmartNode, but still not understand its potential value or its role on the SmartCash network.
By saying "When it comes to smartnodes this is one area people should take Warren Buffet's advice - invest in what you understand." you implied that people should not invest in SmartNodes if they are unable to set up and maintain one themselves, which I do not agree with. Correct me if I am wrong. Everyone should be given a chance to participate in the network, even if they use a third party to get them going from the ground up.
Based on you keep repeating that $500 is a lot to invest in a SmartNode set up tells me that you don't see the potential value of SmartCash. I might be wrong, but this is how you sound. Based on the progress the SmartCash team is delivering, I firmly believe that a SmarNode will soon be worth a lot more than it is right now and that the payouts will be significantly higher. Most investors make decisions based on long-term vision, not based on what they are going to get immediately tomorrow or next month.
Also, your argument that SmartNode owners decided to stay on the old protocol till the last ( and that's past the deadline which was July 1st) moment does not seem like a good example to follow as currently, over 5000 nodes are still on the old protocol and have been out of the payment queue for more than 3 days.
I understand your point that this particular service might be expensive and that other options exist, but it is up to the people to decide what to use based on their technical level and the time they wish to invest to be part of SmartCash. Love & peace ✌️

At least we agree people should decide hence I presented my point of view to give them options. It is clear we will not agree as you seem bent on misunderstanding my point that paying $1000 dollar for a service to set up nodes worth $700+ is over the top. If you value #smartcash like I clearly do you would want to put more of that $1700 initial outlay in the actual network. An amount that would actually get you 2 #smartnodes and some change. It's my duty to let people know of other options even if it affects your profit margin. Thanks

You obviously can’t see SmartCash’s value beyond its current value and are very stuck on the idea about not paying for the set up. We will talk again when SmartCash is at least $1 and the maintenance of 10 nodes that cost $100K cost only $100/month. Many investors could only dream for such returns. I don’t own this service but I run numerous SmartNodes myself and would gladly pay someone trustworthy in the future to keep and eye and maintain them for me when I just want to enjoy my life and not spend time in front of the computer. I also have a lot of friends who would love to have SmartNodes but are not technical enough to even install a wallet on their desktop and could use a service such as this one. I really mean no offense but please try to think beyond the current price of SmartCash and look further into its bright future.

It's still a bad idea to use a service that has not proved itself and charges too much when there are other established services doing the same for less. If you really have friends as you say who can not download a wallet will you direct them to a new business or and old one with track records?

It is not necessary or an investment requirement to run at a lost today (when there are viable profitable options) today in anticipation of future "potential" growth of the investment.

Are you a psychologist or mind reader? How do you presume to know what I think of #smartcash? At least read my previous blog and see if you still come to that conclusion. Why are you stuck on "you don't see the value in #smartcash" song? Do you?
Having a node does not require you baby sitting it like you say. How or what you choose to do is up to you it does not make it the only option.

I see SmartNodes Club as a potentially innovative service which my friends could potentially use. I would not rush recommending it but would not discard it either. Do any of the services you recommend offer a desktop wallet installation and a node set up from scratch (without the user having to do almost anything)? What my friends would use is more of a personal/educational/handholding type of service. I would be happy to provide your recommendations as an option, but what you are offering seem to be hosting services with focus on masternodes . This is great but not exactly targeted towards people who completely lack technical skills. Please do let me know if any of these provide node set up from scratch and full management services. I am genuinely interested.
