a couple of thoughts for you

although it's a VPS on Digital Ocean you will get the gist to do the same on vultr - I really liked this article
- Have you secured your smartnode? I know a lot of people are using the default scripts but they leave a few holes exposed. Firewall settings and keeping ssh open to root. Thanks. As I followed the guide 1.0 for my initial setup after running the bash script I also ran the ufw command to close / open relevant ports and limit ssh. I will read your article thanks. I am currently monitoring using @bitcoiner site and with the Vultr api on my phone. I will also be looking forward to the development of the telegram /discord bot to monitor the nodes.
