Here it is my intro post for being part of the Slothicorn comunity. OwO

These are some of my Art materials.

Why Slothicorn?

I found Slothicorn accidentally, surfing in Steemit. When I read their main post about the steps it requires entering this community; their rules, their high standards. So many exigencies... that I felt like a challenge. I don’t consider myself as a pro artist, neither a talented one. Talent comes with practice. But one thing I can assure; and it is: all the things I do, it is done by me; with my hands and my brain.

I was a total ignorant of the cryptocurrency world. Despide, right now I’m slowly learning about it, it’s a topic very tough for me. I tried a lot in earning money with my art through the traditional way, selling commissions for some few USD. It didn’t work as I expected and the anxiety consumed me. When a friend of mine introduced me to Steemit and the Crypto world, I found a way, a path for showing my art and see my work it’s really worthy.

This was my first and last commission I did in that way. A drawing of two beautiful elves.

My work

One of the requisites for use the Slothicorn hashtag, it is showing the art process of the piece. And that is exactly what I do with my post in blog. I think, only showing the piece, doesn’t have the enough captive for the reader; for that, I have my Instagram and DeviantArt accounts.

This is one of my favorite portraits. My blood elf rogue, Scion. ❤

What does motivate my work?

My pieces are inspired in many things. I use them mostly for express myself in some way.

This is a little picture I made in meme style, when I had serious problems in my life. Everything I took it in a “OK” mood and it was my profile picture in almost everywhere.

From painful situations, the music I hear, my adventures in my videogames, some anime series, designing characters, my dreams. In arts, I found a way to express myself, what happens in my mind, and what feels my soul.

This was a little illustration I did when the only thing I heard from my family was “art is not leasable, find a true job.”

Minala and Hadett (above characters) are my blood elves with a very tough story. I have written a novel about them and I enjoy to shipping them.

I do in half, traditional Art and Digital Art.

I’m not plenty sure if my manga/anime/cartoony style would fit the Slothicorn exigencies; but this is what I can do and these are just examples of what I have done. And I know, with practice, I will do better things.

But that is what I have to say for now. I hope you had liked my little art teaser. My art speaks for me and the things I like and what I am.
