First of all and how to have noticed, I like to leave the information linked to the subject of what I try in my publications to share with you a little bit of different cultures and data beyond what you can see a simple view. 

Hexagram "Star of David"

This famous star is usually known as "Star of David" as an identity symbol of Judaism, Is a hexagram, two equilateral triangles superimposed one pointing up and a pointing down another where dictated by culture this is the Union between Heaven and Earth. 

Really the hexagram as a symbol is found in different cultures and even the nazis made a "yellow badge" which, this one represented the yellow hexagram with the inscription "jude" (Jew in German) that used it to differentiate one the Jews with a discriminating purpose. This hexagram is not exactly from Judaism, since the origin is not totally clear, however, it is said this goes back to the times of ancient Babylon.

Something curious, is that this is linked as a symbolic part in the occultism, the occultism are knowledge and practices in relation to magic, alchemy, among others.
