✏ Drawing: Snow White ❦
❝ Remember, you are the only one who can fill the world with light ❞
¡Greetings, steemianos!
On this occasion, I share a drawing that a very special person for me requested me as a gift a long time ago. Believe it or not, my dear boyfriend asked me for a drawing of the first Disney princess and certainly his favorite. He explained that when he was very young he saw this Disney movie a lot. For him, he was the kindest, most sincere, kind and innocent of all the princesses and that when he met me and being his girlfriend, he compared me to her because of my way of being and I think that because of my skin color (I am very white), who considered me as his "Snow White". Without more than saying, @kamilo.sin.k2105 I dedicate especially this drawing, I hope you like it and appreciate it as much as I appreciate you... ❤
♥ Sketch and Outline ♥
First I made a pencil sketch of the elements that would make up the drawing in general. In this case, I drew our princess, holding the classic poisoned apple that would plunge Snow White into a dream of death and from which, this enchantment is released forming a skull in representation of death.
Once the sketch was finished, I outlined a large part of it with a 0.7 mm black marker and a ballpoint pen, except for the eyes, for which I used a 0.5 mm marker. In general, I do not usually trace the skin of my characters with a marker, but with a black color very softly, in order to avoid staining their skin when applying the flesh color. In this case, Snow White was no exception, especially when her skin is as "snow white". (✿◠‿◠)
♥ Colored ♥
Before the delineation of the eyes and hair, I used a flesh color to color the skin of Snow White and a light brown to shade. Next, I colored all the elements that make up the face (eyes, lips, nose, eyebrows) and hair. For the hair, I applied a dark blue color as the basis of the reflections. When applying this color as a base or under the color black, it makes the latter look darker and in a certain way with more brightness. Likewise, I added lights or reflections towards the middle part or between the dark locks, to increase the contrast. ٩(♡ε♡ )۶
Once the hair was finished, I began to color the blue areas (my favorite color ♥) of the Snow White dress. For this, I used three shades of blue, as can be seen in the photos. Later, I finished coloring the details of the dress and accessory (headband) of this beautiful princess.
Finally, I colored the apple and the skull that forms when leaving it as a kind of smoke. Likewise, I made a background to the drawing, applying the shavings of the purple color with the tip of my finger. In this way, I finish with my drawing of the first Disney princess, Snow White!
Thank you very much for reading my post. If you liked it, I hope you can support me with a comment, suggestion, retest or your valuable vote. It would help me a lot. Without further ado, I say goodbye and wish you a good day.
