SlothHighFive Skoolie Work Day

We started off the work day by removing rest of the rivets holding the inside panels with a grinder and cutoff wheels. After we removed the panels, we removed the insulation that was behind it. We will be adding in 2x2 furring strips to the ribs of the wall and frame off of those.

We were able to remove the rest of the emergency exit stickers and cleaned up the compartment above the driver. We will be utilizing that space for some type of storage or maybe mount some speakers.

One of the last things we did was to wash the roof of the bus, getting it ready for 2 coats of elastomeric paint and sealant to the roof. We will be using the same elastomeric paint on the floor after the rust converter.

As we washed the top we noticed some water leaking in from below the windows. Flex seal will be applied under each window. Hopefully the elastomeric paint and flex seal will be enough to seal us up
