Onion has antiseptic property that helps fight acne. It also helps clear sunburn, fade dark spots and leave behind a glow.
Either you make use of its juice or extract or you infuse in oil.
The juice can be applied to the face but if your skin is sensitive, it's advisable to dilute with a little olive oil before applying.
The oil can be applied at night and washed off in the morning because of the smell.
You grate half a bulb of onion and fry in sunflower oil on low heat for about 15 minutes and leave for an hour before sieving out the oil.
