What is this thing?

So a friend of mine always takes us to this hiking spot about an hour north of Los Angeles. It’s inbetween towns and there is almost nothing around once you exit except for a few eighteen wheelers that have pulled over to rest. On one occasion another friend in the passenger was looking out of the window and saw these two strange looking dish thingy’s.

So as skateboarders what do we do when we are in a car and see something even remotely skateable?.. spot check! We park the car and skate it. I ended up taking Dakota Mullins, a friend and great photographer here and managed to get a kickflip from one to another. One of the reasons I love skating is that we do many more uses for things that are neglected, considered trash, or even just overlooked.
