SIX WEEKS HEALTH CHALLENGE : WEEK TWO - A WALK AT ATICAN BEACH LEKKI

Many thanks to @healthsquared and @sweetsssj for this health improvement challenge.
Here i am at the magnificent atican beach where i am taking a walk on the shore of the ocean. I can feel the cool breeze and the wet sand. this brings me very close to nature. I believe natures form of exercise is the best. Aside from the beautiful view of the ocean and the great people watching there are other benefits of health just walking on the beach. And i will like to share some just incase you would love to try it out. Infact i suggest you do try it out.
Walking in sand requires a more efforts than walking on a hard surface on the sandy beach Your muscles and tendons will work harder as you move your foot around. Also, Jogging on sand uses 1.5 times more energy than jogging on hard surfaces. this also strengthens your muscle. And here is my favourite benefit, Health advocates say that walking barefoot helps reconnects us to nature’s beauty which helps reduce stress as life finds perspective.
