Week four of the six week health challenge; pawpaw and grape yoghurt parfait

I enjoy yogurt parfaits because of the varied blend of textures and tastes. The soft creamy yogurt, crunchy tasty granda or nuts and finally the crisp freshness of the friuts.

Ingredients;

  • 2 cups of plain non-fat yoghurt
  • 1 cup of cereal/ oats /granola /muesli/ mixed
    nuts
  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen fruits,peeled and sliced
    (you can use any combination of fruits you.
    want for this recipe. I used pawpaw and
    grapes)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • fresh herbs like scent leaf,basil,mint for
    garnishing
    Granola




    Method;
    Step 1:
    Add the honey to the plain yogurt and mix well.
    Step 2:
    In a clean tall glass cup,layer 1/2 cup of yogurt at the bottom. Then place 1/4 cup of fruits followed by 1/4 cup granola. Alternate the layers of fruits and granola/cereal with yogurt until the glass is filled.

    Step 3:
    Garnish with fresh herb leaves.

    Step 4:
    Serve immediately to keep the granola or cereal crunchy.
    If you really want a sweeter dessert, then replace the yogurt with ice-cream and you're good to go.
