Spectrum Economics Challenge 5 | My ideal location
Dear friends of the steemit community, this time I bring my entry to contest # 5 of @spectrumecons, which consists of selecting the ideal location for your restaurant, analyzing a hypothetical context flanking @spectrumecons. In the same way it must be explained why that location was chosen, besides saying what type of food will be served and the quality of it.
I choose option B, which is located on Barn Street (BS) in a busy commercial area, with low crime rate, within walking distance of the mall. Also close to a growing residential area.
The advantages of this location are:
- Busy commercial area
- Nearby parking area
- Residential area nearby
- Low crime rate
- Average rent
- Close to the main street
- Little competition
Disadvantages:
- Far from the center of the city
- Low volume of cars passing through the location.
- Most people do not venture far down Barn Street.
- Few options for accessing the site.
As I just mentioned, the selected location has many more advantages than disadvantages. Making it the ideal place, given the type of restaurant I want to open. Since it is located in a commercial area with high traffic, close to mall center, it has a parking space in front, the area is quite safe, and it is close to the residential complex of the city, which is constantly growing. The disadvantages presented have to do with the little movement of people, but are considered minor, since it is intended to provide excellent service and provide new experiences to customers, so they will have no problem moving to our location to enjoy our services.
The restaurant to be opened, will be created under a family concept, which during the week will serve as the ideal place for work meetings, with clients, or a special lunch, offering a different menu every week. On weekends the atmosphere becomes a Family, a place where customers will feel at home, with their own and with friends, offering them an independent play area for the little ones in the house. As for the food, the specialty is home-made food updated, with that touch that makes it special. Offering dishes of good quality, which will be at the monetary reach of many diners.
As for the other available locations (A, C, D), given the type of restaurant, once the analysis was applied, they were not convenient, either due to more indices of crime, high rental costs, or by a select group of people they pass by there.
