The court granted bail to singer Asif Akbar in the case filed under the Information Technology Act. On Monday (June 11th), Dhaka Metropolitan Court Judge Keshab Roy Chowdhury granted bail to him for Tk 10,000.

Tejgaon Police Station General Registrar Tahira Begum told this information. He said, "The judge said in the order that the accused Asif will be on bail until the police report is submitted."

Advocate Nusrat Jahan hearing argued for the accused. The state has been opposed to bail. After the hearing of both parties, the court ordered this.

Earlier, on Wednesday (June 6th), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Keshab Roy Chowdhury granted bail to the jail authorities after rejecting the remand application.

It may be mentioned that on Tuesday (June 5th) a team of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) arrested him from his studio adjacent to the FDC. He was arrested in a case filed by musician and singer Shafique Tuhin in Tejgaon Police Station. Case number 14

According to Ejha, it was found that on June 1, at around 9pm, he found out through the search report of private television channel 24 search light that Asif Akbar sold 617 songs of his music and other music composers, musicians and artists without permission. Later, he contacted through different ways, Asif Akbar became the Chairman of Entertainment Entertainment on Mobile Pv. Lee. Content Provider, Nexnet Lee Gaak Media Bangladesh Ltd. Through the use of trojan, wap-2, ringtone, PRBT, Fultrec, Wall Paper, Animation, Three-G content etc., through the digital transformation of the songs through other organizations, they have made huge money through dishonesty and fraud.

In the case, Shafiq Tuhin further said that in view of the incident, he posted a post mentioning the incident of selling songs without authorization from his personal Facebook account on 2 June at 2pm. Under his post, Asif Akbar gave indecent comments and threats from one of his accounts. The next day, at 9:59 pm, Asif Akbar came to live on his Verifiable Facebook page, with some 32 million likes.

A total of 54 minutes 34 seconds live video shows his abusive, indecent and falsely speech against his (Shafiq Tuhin) 22 minutes. In the video, Asif Akbar (Shafiq Tuhin) will say that he will do Shastasta as well as said to the devotees, he will resist wherever he finds him. Asif Akbar's fans received this instruction threatening him to death through social media. Asif Akbar's speech has seen millions of people. He gave provocation. It has defamed him (Shafiq Tuhin).
