Continuing my posts about the Duan Wu Jie cultural activities in Singapore held on 10th June, Toa Payoh. Having fun, some pics to share. What do you think?

Background information:

Duan Wu Jie, one of the traditional Chinese Festivals celebrated more than 2000 years, is on Thursday 18th June 2018.

Sometime, called May Festival, Double Five Festival as it falls on the fifth day of the Chinese Calendar. An integral part of the activities, dragon boat racing, hence, also known as Dragon Boat Festival.

Food wise, rice dumpling is plentiful, hence, Rice Dumpling Festival. Chinese People also toast to Xiong Huang Jiu wine on this day in addition to, of course Chinese tea.
