Man and his reality in the world
God created the perfect man and also gave him the ability to choose between good and bad, but unfortunately man decided to turn away from God and do things his way. Since that time the pillars of morality have been negatively affected, since, by law, morality is totally dependent on God and cannot be governed by anyone other than Him.
Given the situation that man decided to do things according to his selfish desires, without the support of God and rejecting his advice, humanity has fallen into disorder and imbalance, which has resulted in terrible things such as: domestic violence, child abuse , pedophilia, homosexuality, lesbianism, robberies, vandalism, kidnapping, drug addiction, drug trafficking, abuse of power, injustices, rapes, murders, pornography, alcoholism, idolatry, adultery, fornication, lies, etc. etc. This list of bad things is known as sin. Sin offends God, hurts humanity, and deserves judgment.
Knowing this reality, I would like you to answer the following questions:
- What do you think of this list of bad things you just read?
- Who do you think is responsible for these things?
- Do you think God deserves respect?
- Would you like the bad things in your life and that of others to change?
- Why do you think that, even when we know that these things are bad, we continue to practice them?
As you can see, there is a clear awareness of what is good or bad in each human being and there is also an awareness that God exists, for this reason there are no excuses to continue letting things be the same and do nothing for our own lives. and destination.
A clear reason why things remain the same is because man has not been responsible for his own situation and has turned his back on God who has the perfect model of life. It is not as we believe; it is as God has said in His revealed Word in the Bible. We were created by him and for him and we must render an account to him for everything we do in this life.
Another reason why we continue to sin is because we believe that in the end, we will all go to heaven when we die, but sadly that is not the truth. Because we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God, so we need to solve that problem first, if we want to go to heaven and be with God forever.
There is only one way to go to heaven, and that is through Jesus Christ.
If you have a Bible, look in the book called "Gospel of John and read chapter 14, verse 6 which says:
6 Jesus replied, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Without me, no one can reach God the Father.
Our duty is to recognize our condition, to know that we are wrong, that we have offended God and inform us through the Bible how He wants us to live and in this way we would be giving the true meaning to our lives and solving the BIG PROBLEM that we have with God .
