eBay deals - the best place for purchasing precious metals

in #silver8 years ago

Hello fellow STEEMers, silver and/or gold stackers,

Today I bought a 10 oz Perth Mint Lunar series II 2012 Dragon 999 silver coin on EBAY!

This coin is selling at my local coin dealer for $400 AUD = $300 USD which is about fair value because the silver price was quite high in 2012 and this coin is quite beautiful and a favourite among collectors.

Today I saw one on eBay for $357.60 with shipping.
I submitted a best offer $10 lower and I used a 15% off voucher for ebay.com.au, voucher code: CRACKER

I ended up paying $294 AUD = $222 USD.

So just to let you know eBay does have great deals you just have to be smart about them.

Before you comment fake silver, it is from a coin dealer on ebay which has 1000+ 100% positive feedback.

My recommendation is use these discount vouchers to your advantage to stack great coins!
This offer does not work for Bars in the Bullion category, although you can ask the seller to relist the item in a miscellaneous category as a private listing. This offer also did not work for a 1KG coin that was listed as a coin. So it does take trial and error.
You can test the voucher by adding the item to your cart, then click pay this seller only, which takes you to the check out screen without you having to commit to buy. In the checkout screen you can insert the coupon code and see if it works!

This 15% voucher (CRACKER) is a valid until 25/06/2017 2359 Australian Eastern Standard Time.

I hope this has motivated some of you to go bargain hunting, I am sure eBay US or Europe has similar vouchers from time to time!

Welcome fellow stacker. I'm a bullion guy myself. I am following your blog.
