Standing Liberty Quarter
The Standing Liberty design was only minted on the quarter. The design was changed multiple time which eventually lead to a gorgeous coin. When it was first drafted Liberty had uncovered breasts and there weren't stars below the eagle. Both details plus some other minor details were changed after two years of production. Oddly, the coin uses v instead us u a few times such as “In God We Trvst” and “E Plvribvs Vnvm”. The letters were tightly placed together so the Vs were more visible than if they used Us.
I bought this coin for a slightly costy price of $20. Its condition is between very fine and extra fine. This coin was very popular in the early to mid 20th century so these coins have a high mintage and can be bought close to the value of the silver in it ($3.07) for a beat-up coin.
