What is SiaCoin?

SiaCoin is a decentralized, encrypted storage solution for businesses and enterprise clients.

SiaCoin is geared towards businesses not the average user like you and I. However average users are able to provide the storage for companies. In order to do this you use the SiaCoin wallet to become a host and allocate a certain ammount of storage to the network.

Someone on the other end will set an allowance and upload files. The files that are uploaded are encrypted and can only be viewed by the original uploader account. Any other peers on the network do not know what is being stored or where it's being stored.

SiaCoin has a very stable roadmap posted on their website and it looks like an incredibly stable project, but with all good things it will take time for it to be fully developed.
