Does "Dimla" means anything in arabic? Also, did you get your inspiration from Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities? If not, i recommend you to read it, your short story would fit in his anthology!
Yes I was inspired by Italo Calvino's book. When I read the book I wanted to create architecture for every city. now I'm creating a series of stories/ imagery under the theme of war.
