The Rescuer of Earth #2

I still recall what mommy intended me to do. When she said those words, I just kept innocent and nodding. At this very moment, I’m in the age of maturity. I really understand what’s her purpose formerly. She is a kind of rare person who still pays attention about nature although we live in 20th century, which means everything is instant and modern. Thankyou mommy, you’re the one who reminded me to follow your step, being a person who’s selfless. Probably, if you never admonished me 6 years ago, now I’m still a girl with boner. I won’t go to school by bicycle, read the newest article about my surroundings, be a vegetarian, also recycle many things.

Well, that’s all about my earlier life. I’m Alicia, 16 years old, the second grader of Bina Bangsa Senior High School. Almost all of my friends called me the odd, the freak girl, etc because everyday I spent my time for studying and taking care of my tiny park near school. Fortunately, I had Calista, a bestfriend who always supported me although the others mocked me. She was a beautiful girl with smart brain. Before she decided to be my close friend, she had so many comrades. They all got away from her because she made friends with me. Facing this, I felt guilty, therefore I told Calista to keep away from me. I felt pity if a cheerful girl like her was hated by many people just because she had me as her bestfriend. Precisely, she laughed then convinced me if everything would be alright so I didn’t have to think too much.

When I asked her why she chose this decision, she answered calmly, “Ummm.. Maybe because I have never met a person such as you. A lover of nature and an addict of biology. Your life is so challenging and I have an anxiety with it”. Deep in my bones, I felt so happy. I’ve already had one true friend who would never leave me behind. So, actually I didn’t even care what people said. I’ve tried to resemble some of them but directly they moved away from me. I was sad, I didn’t know what else I should do. I defended myself when I got that kind of treatment.
