Aliens

It started with a bright light. A really bright light that lit the grass around you as you stood in your backyard.
You hadn't been doing anything out of the ordinary. You'd stepped out into your yard with your cup of tea, it wasn't all that cold so you didn't bring a jacket. Your family was inside the house, talking and laughing. You'd needed some time to get away from the noise.
That was your first mistake.

You were looking up at the sky, staring at the stars as they twinkled in shined in the sky. It was dark enough to see that majority of the stars, which was something that you loved. You hated the days where it was too cloudy to see the stars at night.
The stars, in your opinions, were one of the universes best wonders. There were so many of them, which had to mean that there was many more planets in the universe, hundreds of galaxies. Odds were that one of them was inhabited. Actually, odds were that that at least half of them were inhabited.
the question you always asked yourself, was where are they?

That was your second mistake.

Your third and last mistake was not going back inside.

Because all it took was a second. Just a second for everything to change.

And now you find yourself in a spaceship. Something cliche that you would see in a movie. Every wall, roof and floor was steely grey, the computers were highly technical looking, and everything seemed to have a greenish sheen to it.
Extremely Cliche.
The inhabitants of the ship itself, Aliens you could call them, didn't look all that different from you. Save for the fact that there eyes were completely purple and their skin was void of color. They could have been any nocturnal mythical creature, Vampires, Ghosts, Werewolves, hell even bigfoot! But given the fact that you were in a spaceship, you knew they were Aliens.
How did you know you were on a spaceship? Obviously by the fact that through the huge window in the room your had been placed, was Earth.

It had been twenty four hours since you'd been abducted. During that time, the Aliens hadn't hurt you like you first thought they might, in fact they were talking to you, in very broken English, but talking nonetheless. They'd found you, as they said. They'd never seen anyone like you before, so they'd taken you up.
But you hadn't slept since you'd arrived, and you were very quickly starting to drift off. The Aliens had left you alone for a while, you didn't know where they went, but it gave you a little bit of time to sleep, because while they hadn't hurt you, you were still cautious.

"Click- Sir, It's closed its eyes! -Clop"

"Click- What do you mean? -Clop"

"Click- Just look! It's not blinking! -Clop"

"Click- Is it sick? -Clop"

"Click- Maybe it's powering down? -Clop"

"Click- What if it's broken? -Clop"

"Click- How do we fix it? -Clop"

"Click- Is it still breathing? -Clop"

"Click- I can't tell, one of us has to go in there, -Clop"

"Click- but what if it's poisoning the air? -Clop"

"Click- Someone has to check! -Clop"
. . .

"Click- Rock, paper, Galorp? -Clop"

"Click- Just go check on it! We want to keep it alive! Make sure it's well. -Clop"

"Click- If I get an Earth sickness, it's your fault! -Clop"

You wondered if Alien's knew what sleeping was.
