India's 1 st private missile production firm launched

India has launched its first private sector missile
sub-systems manufacturing firm in Hyderabad
on Thursday.

This is a joint venture between
the $2.5 billion Kalyani Group & Israel's Rafael
Advanced Defence Systems Ltd.

The firm will
manufacture anti-tank guided missile (ATGM)
systems and the production is expected to begin
within a few weeks.
