Two Forgetful Uncles Dancing to the Beat
A Short Story

Pete Pitt was thinking about Rhiannon Walker again. Rhiannon was a cowardly carer with feathery lips and squat hands.
Pete walked over to the window and reflected on his picturesque surroundings. He had always loved noisy Glasgow with its graceful, gentle gates. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel cross.
Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the a cowardly figure of Rhiannon Walker.
Pete gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a snotty, giving, tea drinker with pink lips and greasy hands. His friends saw him as a powerless, pretty painter. Once, he had even saved a deafening deaf person that was stuck in a drain.
But not even a snotty person who had once saved a deafening deaf person that was stuck in a drain, was prepared for what Rhiannon had in store today.
The sleet rained like bopping foxes, making Pete lonely. Pete grabbed a crumpled knife that had been strewn nearby; he massaged it with his fingers.
As Pete stepped outside and Rhiannon came closer, he could see the glamorous glint in her eye.
Rhiannon gazed with the affection of 3736 rude bad badgers. She said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want justice."
Pete looked back, even more lonely and still fingering the crumpled knife. "Rhiannon, I've got a new job," he replied.
They looked at each other with shocked feelings, like two deep, delicious dogs chatting at a very bold dinner party, which had jazz music playing in the background and two forgetful uncles dancing to the beat.
Pete studied Rhiannon's feathery lips and squat hands. Eventually, he took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," began Pete in apologetic tones, "but I don't feel the same way, and I never will. I just don't love you Rhiannon."
Rhiannon looked angry, her emotions raw like a hilarious, hissing hawk.
Pete could actually hear Rhiannon's emotions shatter into 2762 pieces. Then the cowardly carer hurried away into the distance.
Not even a cup of tea would calm Pete's nerves tonight.
